Week 21

Doing it yet again


This week our task is to go and look at blogs from two classmates and provide feedback on how they're doing with their chapters. This will be an in-depth review.
Over the last couple of weeks ive been looking at pieces of work from Tudor and David. We all put our work on this google doc so that we can review work.
While I was looking at Tudors work I could tell that he could format his work properly, everything was on tract and straight to the point, all of the introduction leading up to the info was short and concise while still engageing the readers to read what he has to say.

Something that I think tudor could improve on is his conclusion, I think his approach to upon learning better ways to do a conculsion, I believe he can make the conclusion more appealing to the readers, one way it could be improved is talking about the info gathered in a way that he isnt directly saying "in conclusion", saying it in more of a natural way seems less forced and comes off as more appealing.

Upon feedback I feel like im going in the right direction with my chapter, from looking at others work I realised that I need to better my intro and conclusion paragraphs. Another thing that was pointed out by my lecturer is that I need to speak academically rather than blog style writing. I need to remove personal expericences from my text and keep it as only info reguarding the subject.

    Hell yeah brother,

    Great to see that you're on the right track with your chapter. It isn't as easy as it might seem to gather a wide range of information on your chosen topic and then compile that into a single article. The feedback you gave to Tudor was very constructive and should be helpful to him for sure.

 Week 09 Project Alpha It is coming up to the final weeks of the project and I have to say that I am making decent progress, this week I mainly tied up some loose ends with my game such as making the enemies this week spawn randomly others would be: Giving grid boundaries so that the enemies spawn within the play area. Making Box Colliders to each the enemies as well as the player character and the fireballs. Arranging the dragon and fireball prefabs in my game. Creating random spawn generation for the dragon enemies. Box Colliders This was really confusing for me throughout this week's work because I couldn't find why they weren't showing and then I found out that I didn't have the button "Box Editor" selected, I wasted so much time trying to find out what was wrong with it. Game Brainstorm

 Week 03 Game Brainstorm There has been a couple of ideas I thought of since the start of this module but here are the four that I think are most reasonable.  Bartendar Simulator: This was my first idea, the plan was to make a game where you would pour drinks at the bar and control the pressure and the tilt, then you serve them to the customers, depending on how well it is done you will get a good score. It would start with you getting a request from the customer with a certain drink or service, then you go and pick the glass up, bring it to the tap and start pouring the drink for the customer, in this process you'll have to make adjustments to the pressure using the valve, tilting the glass and judging the distance the glass is to the nozzle and the tilt on the glass, after that you'll have your character pick up the glass and bring it over to the other side of the bar and place it down beside the customer, here is where the customer could complain about not having enough head
