Publishing Task 3

Content Management Systems Adam Elder B00136577 Publishing task 3 My site was a website about shoes and ranking the latest sneaker trends today and a little bit of background on the topic of each one. Migration When it comes to migration I did this through Infinity Free iFast Network, with this I created my domain, then I got an email with my cPanel account details, from there I was able to log in and make a quick installation of WordPress through softalicous. Then I took my site that I already exported through my localhost using WP all-in-one Migration, when I had this exported I went to the online WordPress site I made installed the WP all-in-one Migration then imported my local host. Theme The theme I used is WordPress's Twenty Twenty, I particularly liked this theme because of its swiss art style, some modifications I made to this theme was changing the font style and moving around the position of text. Plugins  The plugins on this site include Ultimate Responsive Image Sl

Publishing Task 1 Blog Entry on the Past Conferences and UX Tutorials  User Experience (UX) Explained for Best Practice Website Creation UX Is becoming more and more popular as the design industry grows, everyone is competing for public attention, and the best way to grab the viewer is an eye catching design.  UX stands for user experience, the reason why it's so important is because it sets off a strong impression to the user on what your site/ application, etc has to offer. If the user experience on a website is bad that could set the user's expectations and could reflect on the company in the future, so it is important to set the standard from the start.  When thinking about the UX in your website/ app you need to put yourself in the shoes of the person interacting, you can't assume that they'll know anything about your site when they first click, so presuming is big mistake and can make the experience for the user difficult or even make them feel clueless. When maki

Week 12 Launching Project Solis This is the launching of Project Solis, this is a simple app for people to learn more about the solar system, the thing that would separate it from google is the fact the player can traverse the scene this is a lot more interesting than just reading text on the internet. When it comes to trying to get the gameplay footage for this project I had loads of problems when I tried to connect the headset to my laptop using the Oculus link, as usual, it didn't work and I was stuck with the endless 3 dots so I had to export my build to this application called "SideQuest" then I was able to import the game file from that app directly to the Oculus headset and from there I recorded, as usual, the gameplay using Oculus's building in capture system then exported it onto the SideQuest app and from there I could upload it to youtube. Enjoy the gameplay :) https://youtu.be/FWKGOwqBEb8

Official Chapter Doing wk 12

Week 12 Doing the launching of the Book This week is the final week where we finally show off our chapters, it was a strange journey since I've never written any academic books or anything that was to be taken seriously. Im happy with how my chapter turned out in the end I feel as if it holds some value for new knowledge on the topic of online gaming and Co-op multiplayer in both storylines and relationships online. There were a couple of problems that I had with structuring it, in the beginning it sounded like a blog post. Here is the final chapter Author Bio My Chapter dives deep into social interactions in gaming, talking about Multiplayer co-op as well as how online gaming affects players in and outside of the game. Ill also be talking about co-op games with competitive teamwork or storylines that involve two people working as a team and how they can bring people together. Intro: Do you ever wonder how Co-op Multiplayer and Co-op storylines affect the gamers of today? There are

Week 23 Alpha This week for my project is all about refining things for my game, some things that I want to work on is the text and facts that the user will come accross. There are some things that are displayed wrong in my opinion with the text fields, On these text boxes i have a transparent glass behind the glass to make it easier to differentiate between the sky box and the text. This works really well but when I finished all the text boxes I realised that the text overflows the transparent panel  I also added a slight tilt on the panel to make it easier for the viewer to see the information on the panel for better UI, I didn't want the infromation to be directly vertical and beside the planet because this would make it harder for the player to read, this would mean that i'd have to make the panel larger to see making the scene more cluttered, so i thought it better to have it smaller and more consise as a small table infront of the user.  Something that inspired me with th
