  Week 02 Time Management This year I'm going in thinking that there is going to be a larger work load, last year I was able to keep up with it but it was defiantly hard and I was pretty much sitting at my desk for hours each day with not that much time to do other things, the times I did get to go outside I was ending up taking photos for my photography module. my Mid-term breaks were all mid term assessments, I need to see where I'm going wrong or where changes could be made, to make life easier for me or give me more free time outside of college work. There is also taekwondo  training  that I need to take into account when sorting out my study timetable. I also work on the weekends as a waiter in Premier inn. This year that i have more responsibilities as well as more homework.  The commute to blanch is a nightmare and I'll have to take two busses to get to the campus, this will slightly shorten my time to study during the week as I'll be home later than usual.   Week 02 Technology Tools This year we don't have a whole load of information about the amount of tools we'll be using but we do know that we'll be using an engine called Unity. I have never used unity before but I'm excited to learn it as some of my favorite games like Assassins Creed, Rainbow Six Siege and Beat Saber!  Unity is a game engine that's cross-platform and was developed by Unity Technologies and was released in 2005. I can't wait to get started on the project. This is an example of someone working on their game and what Unity would look like when we start designing our own game. There will be a load of image editing and tweaking needed in this. I think that image creation in this project could be the hardest.

Week 02 TESTING  

Week 02   Class   Assignments This year we are starting a new module called Multimedia Development This Module peaked my interest because of the gaming aspect and the thought of making my own game in this module using Unity to make it.  This year we will be combining reading the stories for games and writing our own stories for games. Since we are learning unity this year we will also be doing labs with small exercises on how to use the unity tool.  I like the fact that we can easily plan out our assignments and work according to the grade we want to get. I do enjoy reading stories and sharing stories so I thing the class assignments might be quite enjoyable this year.  This image is an example of something close the the graphical fidelity we are looking to achieve with unity this year. We're going to be doing group Project this year and we will be getting feedback from our peers and work on making improvements.                     

Week 02 Growth Mindset In my opinion a growth mindset is a powerful mindset and one that many people believe is true and is achievable but not many people are able to fully put this mindset to use or apply it to a real world setting. People who have this mindset and live by it are very motivated and well disciplined. They don't let anything go unanswered. People with a growth mindset are untouchable when they're in the zone and work hard on bettering themselves and the things they believe in. Having a growth mindset is great for school learning a new skill and even learning a new hobby.  having this kind of mindset will propel them in the direction they want to go if they really want to succeed, But they will have to WANT to succeed and that's when they begin to see results. Some examples of a growth mindset would be: It's not too late to learn. Get up and keep trying. Mistakes aren't bad its repeated ones that are. Believe you can achieve. Anything is possible if y

 Week 02 Introduction To Adam Elder Hi, my name is Adam Elder, I am nineteen years old and I am part of CDM at TUD Blanchardstown.  I love to play sports, video games, watch movies, and make new friends I also love to listen to music.  I have a family that is all into taekwondo and all of us do it. I've been doing it since I was 11. Being a part of RiverValley Taekwondo has made me the person I am today.
