Doing it again & again


This week we will be our thoughts on what we worked on so far in our chapters for the book.

Author Bio

My Chapter dives deep into social interactions in gaming, talking about Multiplayer co-op as well as how online gaming affects players in and outside of the game. Ill also be talking about co-op games with competitive teamwork or storylines that involve two people working as a team and how they can bring people together.

My thoughts

I think that im on the right path for my chapter, I like the headings to each paragraph and the information that they give. I think that people reading them would learn something new or find better knowledge on each topic.
I feel that some of these topics carry over to real life and highlight how much they affect these gamers, especially the topic of mental health, as well as gamers, feeling a part of a group. That feeling of belonging or being part of a society has proven to increase self-esteem and mood, this is really important for everyone.

Based on feedback on my work I believe that my introduction and conclusion is my weakest point and one major flaw would be the reflective style that I've seemed to adopt in my paragraphs.


 Im currently working on changing the reflective style and last week I started working on bettering my introduction and conclusion.

Next Week

By next week I want to have my into and conclusion completed for the chapter, I also would like to be a good bit into rewording my chapter, taking the reflective writing and changing it to academic style as it should be.

 Week 09 Project Alpha It is coming up to the final weeks of the project and I have to say that I am making decent progress, this week I mainly tied up some loose ends with my game such as making the enemies this week spawn randomly others would be: Giving grid boundaries so that the enemies spawn within the play area. Making Box Colliders to each the enemies as well as the player character and the fireballs. Arranging the dragon and fireball prefabs in my game. Creating random spawn generation for the dragon enemies. Box Colliders This was really confusing for me throughout this week's work because I couldn't find why they weren't showing and then I found out that I didn't have the button "Box Editor" selected, I wasted so much time trying to find out what was wrong with it. Game Brainstorm

 Week 03 Game Brainstorm There has been a couple of ideas I thought of since the start of this module but here are the four that I think are most reasonable.  Bartendar Simulator: This was my first idea, the plan was to make a game where you would pour drinks at the bar and control the pressure and the tilt, then you serve them to the customers, depending on how well it is done you will get a good score. It would start with you getting a request from the customer with a certain drink or service, then you go and pick the glass up, bring it to the tap and start pouring the drink for the customer, in this process you'll have to make adjustments to the pressure using the valve, tilting the glass and judging the distance the glass is to the nozzle and the tilt on the glass, after that you'll have your character pick up the glass and bring it over to the other side of the bar and place it down beside the customer, here is where the customer could complain about not having enough hea...
